MANILA, Philippines — ActiveLearning, a Philippines-based IT and project management training provider, today announced the launch of its AI Software Testing Training, a 14-hour live online course for testers and QA teams looking to bring generative AI into their everyday testing work. The first batch is scheduled for December 9–10, 2026
The course responds to growing pressure on testing teams to use generative AI in their work, often without a shared, risk-aware approach in place. Rather than leaving AI adoption informal and ad hoc, the course gives testers reusable prompts and methods for AI-assisted testing, along with the skills to help their team adopt generative AI responsibly.
Practical, Risk-Aware AI Skills for Testers
The course focuses on three outcomes:
- Write effective prompts for test analysis, test design, regression automation, and reporting
- Recognize and manage AI risks such as hallucinations, bias, data privacy, and prompt manipulation
- Build a practical plan for bringing generative AI into a test team, including model selection, costs, and a staged rollout
Basic Testing Knowledge Recommended, No Coding Required
The course is designed for testers, test analysts, test automation engineers, test managers, user acceptance testers, developers who test their own work, business analysts, project managers, and quality managers, as well as QA and testing teams, software development and IT teams, and IT directors and managers building a generative AI testing strategy. No coding is required, though basic knowledge of software testing is expected; ISTQB Foundation Level (CTFL) certification is recommended, as it is the formal entry requirement for the CT-GenAI exam. This is ActiveLearning’s own course, not an official ISTQB course, and it is not exam preparation.
