10-May-2015 –MANILA, ActiveLearning, Inc. today released its latest training program in the Philippines entitled “Web Development using HTML5 and CSS3”. HTML and CSS are the fundamental technologies used to create web pages. The course will be held on June 22, 2015 at ActiveLearning’s training center in Greenhills, San Juan.
With mobile devices dropping support for Adobe Flash, it has become more important for web developers to use HTML5 as a substitute for Flash since HTML5 requires no plugins, and works across platforms.
“We are excited to launch this new course. Aside from IT professionals, this course gives non IT professionals the opportunity to venture into a fulfilling IT career. ActiveLearning is committed in helping people upgrade their technical skills, as well as providing the best possible education in web development”, said Gavin Lim – Training Director of ActiveLearning.
With this 2-day course, participants will learn how to:
- Create web pages using HTML5
- Apply standard styling across a website using CSS3
- Add images, hyperlinks to pages
- Lay out text and images on pages using CSS and tables
- Create HTML forms
- Deploy a website on a web server
After attending this course, participants will know how to create web pages that can be used for both internal as well as public websites and web applications. Participants will also be introduced to software tools professionals use to create professional looking web pages.
