16-Mar-2021 –MANILA, ActiveLearning Inc. – a leading provider of IT and project management training in the Philippines, launched new certification training courses for software testing. The courses are called “ISTQB Foundation Certification” and “ISTQB Agile Tester Certification Training”. Both of the courses will initially be conducted through instructor led online training.
International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Foundation Certification provides essential skills and knowledge needed to work as a testing professional. This certification training is internationally recognized as the industry-standard professional qualification in software testing and is a common key selection criterion of employers and clients. This ISTQB Foundation course is also a prerequisite for gaining ISTQB Advanced-level accreditation. At the completion of this course, participants will be able to apply test strategies and control their own test activities using a test methodology that is globally recognized as best practice.
In the Agile Tester Certification Training, attendees will gain understanding of how Agile projects are organized. They will also learn commonly applied development practices, differences between agile and traditional approaches, and commonly used testing tools. By the end of the ISTQB Agile Tester course, they will recognize how testers are positioned in Agile organizations. They will also be able to effectively estimate and organize testing, as well as apply risk-based testing in Agile projects.
This ISTQB Foundation Certification course has no prerequisites. However, it is suggested that candidates have at least six months of practical experience in a professional testing role. While for the ISTQB Agile Tester, all attendees must possess ISTQB Foundation Certification first and have a general understanding of test design, process and terminology.
